About
Dr Chomalen Sivaratnam (Dr Chom) completed his medical degree at Bond University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His postgraduate training spans a range of areas including general and internal medicine, emergency medicine, intensive care, and neuroimaging research.
He chose general practice to support patients across all stages of life, taking a thoughtful and individualised approach to care. Dr Chom recognises that health means different things to different people and aims to provide evidence-based advice tailored to each patient’s values and expectations. He is particularly focused on helping patients better understand their health, including clarifying common misconceptions around tests and treatments.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active through training and sport, follows a range of sports, and has a strong interest in reading.
